Experience
Attorney Kerrigan began his legal career in 1980 serving two years as a Law Clerk to Honorable Shane Devine, Chief Judge, U.S. District Court, District of New Hampshire, 1980-1982. Since Attorney Kerrigan began private practice in 1982 he has concentrated his efforts in civil litigation. He focuses his present practice on complex disputes in litigation, mediation and arbitration settings. His services are called upon privately as a mediator, arbitrator and as a counselor advocate, with his advocacy focused on complex civil disputes and trial work. Mr. Kerrigan represents individuals, businesses and multinational corporations in a variety of settings throughout New Hampshire as well as in the federal district and appellate courts of both New Hampshire and Massachusetts.
Affiliations
Mr. Kerrigan has twice been elected to the New Hampshire Bar Association Board of Governors. He received his state recertification as a Rule 170 Mediator from the New Hampshire Office of Mediation and Arbitration in November 2008 and was a participant in the first state sponsored arbitrator certification training conducted by the American Arbitration Association in March 2009. He is a member and a fellow of the New Hampshire Bar Foundation as well as a member of the Association of Defense Trial Attorneys and the New Hampshire Association for Justice. He has been active in the community as a long time member and past president of the Board of Directors of The Plus Company.
